The following guidelines are for your consideration when producing video content for the university. Along with our branded video assets, the items below can be used to assist the quality of your videos.
Captioning Video
In compliance with the law, all videos produced by Texas A&M must be captioned for the hearing impaired. YouTube offers the ability to easily add closed captions to any video you upload to their site. Alternately, you can add open captions to videos by placing subtitles on the top layer of your project in your video editing system.
Texas A&M Footage Reel
The Division of Marketing and Communications has provided B-roll footage available for use by Texas A&M University employees only. Footage is property of Texas A&M University and is not for commercial use.
Using Our Video Elements
An approved video title template is available for download on our Video Templates page. When using video titles, ensure that all titles comply with title safe areas as specified by broadcast standards.
